C5c is specially designed for long-distance point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and short point-to-multipoint connections but limited by vegetation. Outgoing antenna connectors enable connection of many types of antennas selected according to needs to achieve even 500+ Mbps TCP.
C5c supports MIMO 2x2:2 communication. Two-polarized antennas are connected via RP-SMA connectors. The device is attached to the mast with a clip-on clamp or to the antenna in case it has a dedicated snap-on mounting base.
SRS is MIMOSA's proprietary communication protocol. The client unit operating in SRS mode, uplink and downlink transmission to it, is controlled by the access point (A5/A5c). This operation significantly improves transmission efficiency through better access to the transmission medium, reduces interference and reduces jitter. For comparison, in WiFi-Interop mode client stations have to compete with each other for access to the transmission medium, which unfortunately reduces efficiency, increases interference and jitter.
