Extralink Cat. 6A FTP is a high quality network cable for indoor installation. Category 6a includes cabling that requires a 500 MHz band and data transmission up to 10 Gb/s (10 Gigabit Ethernet). The cable construction consists of 4 pairs of cables twisted together to eliminate electromagnetic interference. The cables are made of pure copper with a thickness of 23 AWG with HDPE sheath. Every pair is separately shielded with aluminium foil and additionally one common shielding for all cables. The whole is covered with a combustion safe Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) coating, in accordance with the requirements of the fire safety regulations for large commercial buildings. The package contains 500 m of cable.
The product is intended for stationary installations inside buildings, stations, structures and equipment exposed to an increased risk of electromagnetic discharges. The cable is ideal for cabling that requires a frequency range of up to 500 MHz. The LSZH outer sheath guarantees a high level of safety.
