Lan Controller V3.5 is a very versatile device that allows you to connect many different sensors and remotely view their readings and control various types of outputs. It is also possible to combine both functions in an automatic if → then with a calendar when → then. The device provides user interface in form of web page. The website presents the readings of various sensors: temperature, humidity, pressure, voltage, current. It also allows you to configure the device, including setting up events and controlling up to 10 outputs. Thanks to support for many protocols, it is possible to operate the device from smartphones, collect and observe the results on the server and cooperate with other I/O systems based on TCP/IP and Modbus.
Amplifiers for measuring small signals - in this way you can easily and safely measure e.g. alternating currents. PWM modulated outputs are also available for controlling e.g. lighting brightness or motor speed, and for controlling simulation servo drives. The card can be powered via PoE technology for easy installation in remote locations. User software updates are now very easy.
Very rich expansion capabilities - in addition to the 1-Wire bus for reading DS18B20 temperature sensors, there is an I2C serial port on the same RJ12 connector. This means that many sensors and other devices can be connected. For example, the AM2320 and BME280 temperature/humidity sensors, a 0.96" OLED display, a real-time clock or the SPS30 dust sensor are supported. A new universal tB board has also been developed for this bus. It allows simultaneous connection of 6 DS18B20 sensors, a display and an I2C sensor such as the BME280. A 1-Wire splitter with I2C support and a compact relay card are also available. All these accessories are located on a DIN rail mounted cradle. Via the serial port we can read e.g. the MH-Z16, MH-Z19 CO2 sensor, the SDS011 dust sensor and also use the GSM module to send text messages.
The user interface, in the form of a website, was created from scratch, using modern tools that improved its operation and eliminated previous problems. Responsive website allows you to use it comfortably from a desktop computer and a smartphone. A feature to create user pages has been introduced. It allows to select only the necessary fields (labels, readings, control buttons), with the possibility of their free arrangement in a panel with a variable background (for example, a user image showing the installation of sensors). In addition, two access levels are assigned, user and administrator, which, combined with the editable user panel, allow you to personalize the controller to your own needs.
A simple app for your phone greatly enhances the use of Tinycontrol devices. You can check the sensor readings or switch outputs at any time. Icons with editable names for the readings and buttons for the outputs with the typical Lan Controller colour coding (green - on, red - off) clearly present the information from the device.
