Aerial fibre optic cable is a single-mode cable with a diameter of 6.5 mm, with fibres 24 type G652D fibres and tensile strength of 1.0 kN. The product was packed on spheres after 2000 m, and the price is calculated for 1 meter. This type of optical cables are used in external overhead installations, most often hung on poles of power lines and urban electric transport lines.
The self-supporting fiber optic cable is resistant to harsh weather conditions and temperature differences. The structure is reinforced with two FRP rods (fiber reinforced plastic) from a renowned Japanese manufacturer Fujikura. The outer coating made of polyethylene is resistant to solar radiation.
