Mikrotik Routerboard RBwAPG-60ad-SA is a new access point model for 60 GHz frequencies. Compared to the usual wAP 60G AP model, this new model has a completely new antenna layout, with support for a much wider angle of coverage and is optimized specifically for multipoint operation.
96 antenna elements work in beam shaping technology to provide connectivity for eight client devices 60 GHz at the same time, in the field of view 180 degrees. Build a cost effective point-to-multipoint installation in a clean 60 GHz wireless band, at a fraction of the price. It has a powerful IPQ-4019 quad-core processor with 716 MHz and 256 MB RAM. It has a gigabit Ethernet port and offers maximum wireless 1 Gb/s throughput.
Two wAP 60Gx3 AP modules can also be used in point-to-point configuration. The device operates with Mikrotik RouterOS level 4 software. MikroTik wAP 60Gx3 AP can be mounted on a wall (e.g. on the facade of a building), the set includes also a stand that can be placed on a desk. Power supply can be provided via DC or PoE plug, input voltage range is 12 - 57 V DC. The access point can also be powered by PoE in 802.3af/at standard. A 24 V / 0.38 A power supply and gigabit PoE injector are included.
