The U-Installer provides 24 V PoE power supply to the airMAX CPE. With its internal battery, the U-Installer simplifies your installation toolkit. Position and configure the CPE at the installation site using a tablet or smartphone.
Use the intuitive UNMS application for iOS or Android to set and configure airMAX CPE or other Ubiquiti device.
The U-Installer provides Wi-Fi connectivity to the CPE management interface during installation, so provisioning and final adjustments can be made with a tablet or smartphone.

Use a mobile device (default method) or a laptop to configure the CPE device at the point of installation via the U-Installer’s Wi-Fi:
1. Power on the U-Installer by pressing the Power button. The Battery LEDs light when the power is on.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable to the PoE OUT port on the U-Installer. 
3. Connect the other end of the cable to the CPE device.
