Build a secure and flexible network with Ubiquiti Networks® UniFi® Security Gateway XG, part of the UniFi Enterprise System. USG-XG-8 is a 10G enterprise gateway that offers robust security and advanced routing features. Eight independent SFP+ ports provide full 10G network support.
Designed for ease of use and reliability, the USG-XG-8 is equipped with a built-in touch screen and modular power supplies. The display allows administrators to monitor devices and networks in real time without having to use a separate user interface device. The USG-XG-8 is powered with direct current and uses power supplies that are replaceable during operation. It can also create backups.
The USG-XG-8 has a clear, built-in touch screen that makes network management even easier. The LCD touch screen displays two different screens for your convenience: a port and a statistical one. The default port screen displays information such as IP addresses, bandwidth and number of clients per port. The statistics display provides an overview of total bandwidth and system details.
Load a map of your location, or use Google Maps to show the areas where your UniFi devices are located. From version 5.6 onwards, you can also use the predictive map feature to get a preview of your coverage to avoid blind spots.
Use configurable reporting and analytics to monitor large user groups and speed up troubleshooting. Advanced search and sorting functions increase network management efficiency. UniFi visualizes network traffic with clear and legible graphs.

To use an SFP+ port:
1. Remove the protective cap covering the SFP+ port.
2. Connect a compatible fiber optic module to the SFP+ port.
3. Connect the fiber optic cable to the fiber optic module. Then connect the other end of the cable to another fiber optic device.
