Designed to support workloads up to 550TB per year, Ultrastar DC HC510 is based on conventional magnetic recording (CMR) technology for ease of installation in enterprise and cloud data centers.

Features such as TDMR (two-dimensional magnetic recording) technology and a third-generation two-stage micro-actuator work together to increase head positioning accuracy and deliver improved performance, data integrity and overall drive reliability, which is critical in multi-drive environments where operational vibration is a concern.
