Thanks to the use of GPON technology, the F660 provides broadband network access. It has components that allow traffic management with high performance to ensure smooth operation of VoIP services and HD video streaming.
The wireless network in F660 is adapted to 11n technology along with MIMO and frequency channels. It allows for data transmission at speeds up to 300 Mb/s, so the network works with greater efficiency.
The VoIP service available in F660 via two FXS ports will allow users to use two phone numbers: for example a private and a public one, while the 4 Fast Ethernet ports will allow users to connect devices with cables. The QoS used in F660 is used in services requiring higher priorities, such as IPTV and VoIP and their providers will be able to adjust the QoS for a given service to operate at the highest performance.
The DLNA Media Server in F660 makes it work as DMS (Digital Media Server). Any DLNA DMP (Digital Media Player) device will be able to connect to it and play media from media connected to F660 through a USB port. Both data storage media and printers can be connected to F660 and shared on the network.
Remote and secure management of TR-069 in F660 will improve control over the device without the need for on-site support, thus increasing CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index).
GPON and XG-PON1 have the ability to coexist in one network thanks to the WBF (Wavelength Block Filter), which together with support for dual stack IPv4/IPv6 in the F660 makes further network expansion incredibly easy.
