The Zyxel GS1900 series are compact, gigabit free-standing switches with a rack mount option that allow you to create a fast network in a convenient place, in offices or other premises.
The Series of Zyxel GS1900 Switches has an interface designed to be configured and managed via Browser, which allows you to quickly and conveniently configure the network in four steps: initial settings, VLAN, Guest VLAN and QoS.

A manageable switch, e.g. Gigabit Zyxel GS1900-24, allows you to change the configuration via telnet, Web site or similar solutions, adapting it to the correct operation of the network.
Gigabit Ethernet is a data rate standard that is supported by the Zyxel GS1900-24 switch and can be 1000 Mb/s (1 Gb/s).
VLAN, or Virtual Local Area Network, is the term for a logical network that can be created in a manageable switch, such as Zyxel GS1900-24. This allows you to create a network of more than one physical network and at the same time provides port isolation so that devices physically connected from one port group cannot access the other groups.
QoS (Quality of Service) is a switch configuration that determines the priority protocols on which services requiring higher than standard bandwidth and lag-free operation, such as streaming or VoIP will operate.
