The WRE2206 amplifier for N300 networks is designed to extend Wi-Fi networks to places where the network has a weak range. The WRE2206 signal amplifier is able to cover up to 30% more than standard Wi-Fi amplifiers with antennas.
To connect the WRE2206 amplifier to the existing Wi-Fi network it is enough to connect to an electrical outlet and press the WPS button on the amplifier and router or access point.
Finding the best place will enable the signal strength indicator in the form of LED diode, which will help to place the WRE2206 amplifier in the best possible place. Zyxel WRE2206 will also indicate how many devices are connected to it and what impact it has on network performance.
