EchoLife HG8346R from Huawei is an optical network terminal (ONT), a high-end home gateway in the Huawei FTTH solution. Thanks to the use of Gigabit passive optical network technology (GPON) the EchoLife terminal provides access to ultra-fast bandwidth for every user, both at home and in the office. Huawei HG8346R has two POTS ports, four FE ports and one Wi-Fi antenna. The HG8346R terminal is equipped with powerful redirection functions that provide excellent quality of VoIP, Internet and HD video services.

The EchoLife series of Huawei production, exceptionally focuses on saving energy. Thanks to the implementation of the EchoLife HG8346R highly integrated system on the chipset (SOC) in the EchoLife HG8346R terminal, the Huawei product allows to reduce energy consumption by up to 25%. Another characteristic feature of the series is remote diagnostics, allowing for automatic troubleshooting through POTS port loop testing and connection emulation.
