Cambium cnPilot E505 access point

Cambium cnPilot Outdoor E505 is an enterprise-class outdoor access point. It operates in 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, supports 802.11n/ac Wave 2, MU-MIMO 2x2:2. Equipped with Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE 802.3af/at support. Supports up to 256 simultaneous clients.

Cambium cnPilot networks can be managed in 4 ways:

  • based on the free cnMaestro cloud driver
  • based on the locally installed and free of charge cnMaestro On-Premises controller, capable of managing up to 10000 access points and supporting up to 1500000 wireless clients (installation on VMware virtual machines supported)
  • based on the cnMaestro family hardware driver
  • based on the AutoPilot ecosystem - an "access point based controller". AutoPilot runs on one of the cnPilot family of access points and can support up to 32 access points on the network
