Aerial fibre optic cable is a single-mode cable with a diameter of 6.3 mm, number of fibres 12 type G652D and tensile strength 1.0 kN. The product was packaged on shuffles after 2000 m, and the price given applies to 1 meter. Optical cables are used in external overhead installation, most often hung on poles of power lines and urban electric transport lines.
Overhead fibre resistant to harsh outdoor conditions
Fiber optic cables self-carrying are resistant to severe weather conditions and temperature differences. The construction of the external fiber optic cable has been reinforced with two FRP rods (fiber reinforced plastic) from reference manufacturer Fujikura. The outer coating made of polyethylene is resistant to solar radiation.
