Reliable Totolink switch - construction and standards

Totolink's compact network devices are characterized by extraordinary simplicity combined with reliability. They comply with the Ethernet standards: IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3x and IEEE 8023ab. Usually each port has a clear number and status display using an LED. Simple Totolink switches have several parameters:

• number of LAN ports,

• type of housing:
  • rack - for installation in rack standard cabinets,
  • desktop switch - to put or hang.

They don't provide PoE power, but they are supplied with power from the set. According to the manufacturer's markings, the Totolink S808G switch is a compact switching device with 8 Gigabit - 10/100/1000BASE-T ports with AUTO-MDIX. S808G 8 ports G igabit has Full Duplex capability. The Totolink S505 will be a RJ45 port x5 fast Ethernet switch with Auto MDI/MDIX on each. Using unshielded UTP cat 4, shielded, straight or crossover cables, you can connect any device equipped with standard network cards . Totolink desktop switch in LANs

Classic desktop switch is used for mounting on a desk or other flat surface. They are network devices that do not require advanced knowledge of technology, network.
