Aruba 2540 24G POE+ 4SFP+ ACM

Aruba 2540 24G POE+ 4SFP+ ACM is a 28-port and fully manageable layer 3 PoE+ switch with gigabit access in the cloud. Presented model has 24 10/100/1000 ports and 4 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports for high speed. This switch, with a power budget of 370 W, can additionally power PoE devices. Version designed for management via Aruba Central.

ARUBA 2540 24G POE+ 4SFP+ ACM

Aruba 2540 series switches offer basic functions of access switches for corporate campuses, small and medium enterprises and branches. It can be easily deployed and managed with Aruba AirWave, Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager and in the Aruba Central cloud. Powerful Tier 2 features include static routing and RIP, ACL, sFlow, IPv6 without the need for a software license.

Power and safety

Aruba 2540 Switch Series are designed with a powerful Aruba ProVision ASIC with low latency and increased packet buffer and adaptive power consumption. Performance is enhanced by the choice of queue configuration and associated memory buffer that meets the requirements of a specific network application. The device supports up to 370 W of PoE+ power on all access ports for wireless access points, cameras and IoT devices. Built-in 10 GbE uplinks reduce network congestion to aggregation/core switches.

Reliable safety and quality of service (QoS)

Aruba 2540 series switches provide security and quality of service, so it is possible to build a network that meets the requirements of ever-changing corporate policies while protecting data against internal and external threats. Enhanced protection and security policy compliance is ensured by flexible authentication options that include standard-based security protocols such as 802.1X, MAC and network authentication. Powerful, multi-level access controls include source port filtering, RADIUS/TACS+, SSL, port protection and MAC address blocking.

Integrated management

Aruba 2540 series switches support Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager for unified and consistent management of user policies and simplify implementation and management of guest login, user onboarding, network access, security, QoS and other network policy elements. Built-in, easy to use and programmable REST API provides automation of mobile-first campus network configuration. RMON and sFlow offer advanced monitoring and reporting capabilities for statistics, history, alarms and events. The central management platform based on the Aruba cloud offers a simple, secure and cost-effective way to manage switches.
