Extralink ONU ONT WI-FI GPON for home and office fiber optic networks

GPON Wi-Fi ONU is an advanced line of multi-terminal devices compliant with IEEE 802.11b/g/n standard. The terminal is equipped with one GPON port, four 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 LAN ports and two FXS RJ-11 interfaces. It offers individual and business users an ideal solution for sharing ultra-fast fiber broadband. ONT Wi-Fi's cooperation with the GPON optical network terminal (OLT) provides highly efficient GPON solutions for Fiber To The Home (FTTH) networks. Simple management facilitates installation and maintenance of the GPON system. Thanks to the built-in 1.25 Gb/s GPON fiber optic interface, the ONT Wi-Fi device supports various types of fiber optics for WAN networks over a fiber optic link, and the distance can be up to up to 20 km. It also supports many high bandwidth services such as IPTV, online gaming, VoIP and Internet access, and maintains smooth bandwidth utilization thanks to QoS functions. Thanks to its high reliability and scalability, it can be successfully used in SOHO networks (in small offices or homes).

ONT with internet telephony capabilities

ONT Wi-Fi has two FXS ports that can be easily integrated into a VoIP system. ONT Wi-Fi makes it easy for businesses to use their voice and data system and allows them to expand their voice system to new locations. This helps to save money on long-distance calls, as remote users can connect via Unified VoIP as with internal calls, but there will be no charge for long-distance calls.

Fast and secure wireless network

With the built-in wireless IEEE 802.11b/g and 802.11n functions, you can connect any computer or wireless network device without additional wiring to the ONT Wi-Fi terminal. The 802.11n wireless function provides users with wireless data transfer speeds up to 300 bps. Double radio range guarantees strong wireless connection, even in large offices or homes. With full support for IPv4 and IPv6 the device can work with the original IPv4 network structure and support the new IPv6 network structure, both now and in the future. As the number of network devices grows and the need for greater addressing and security becomes critical, ONT Wi-Fi is the best choice for ISPs to build FTTx services connected to IPv6 networks.

Easy to manage GPON ONT

ONT Wi-Fi provides a user-friendly management interface through standard web browsers. For network management functions, the ONT Wi-Fi device not only provides basic router functions such as DHCP server, virtual server, DMZ, QoS and UPnP, but also firewall functions including network address translation (NAT), port/MAC filtering and DoS protection. ONT Wi-Fi serves as a firewall to protect the network from unauthorized users. In order to reduce the number of employees in the field, the device supports TR-069 standard (WAN Management Protocol), which allows remote configuration and diagnostics of the ACS (Auto-Configuration Server).
