Patchcord LAN is Extralink's copper network cable for indoor use. Patchcord LAN is a basic component of Ethernet-based computer networks. It is used to directly connect two active devices, such as a router or switch, so that data can be transferred between them. It is also used to connect computers or Voip telephones for structured cabling and to perform patch panel switching in IT cabinets. It is perfect for both large and small computer networks. Shielded patchcord Extralink is highly flexible, which translates into installation convenience and user comfort.
Screened category 5e FTP Patchcord by Extralink is terminated with screened, gold plated RJ45 plugs. It is made of four-wire cable, twisted pair type, made of pure copper, thanks to which it is possible to power network devices in PoE standard.
