The device now has only fully independent Ethernet ports, each of which has a direct connection to the processor, which allows you to overcome the previous common 1Gbit limit from the switch ports and use the full processing power potential of the processor on these ports. The CCR1009-7G-1C-PC is equipped with a passive cooling chassis, two heat pipes and a special passive heat sink.
A single 1Gbit software interface which has two hardware interfaces - a SFP basket and a Gigabit Ethernet port, allowing you to use any available connection. It is also possible to switch between both physical interfaces in RouterOS. In case of disconnection, the combo-port provides the hardware function of emergency switching. The device supports 100BASE-LXE/100BASE-SX/100BASE-BX fiber modules as well as standard SFP 1.25G modules.

User name is 'admin' and there is no password (press 'Enter'). To change password use '/password' command.
When you install RouterOS software or turn on the router for the first time, there are different ways to connect to it:
- Access to command line interface (CLI) via Telnet, SSH, serial cable
- Access to the graphic interface (WebFig)
- Using the WinBox configuration tool (Windows application)
To update your software, you must download the latest package files (*.npk) from our website. Then connect to your router via FTP and upload the new packages to it using the binary transfer mode. Restart your router by issuing the command /system reboot.
