MikroTik launches a R52H IEEE802.11a/b/g miniPCI wireless card for high-speed multi-band applications, with output power up to 350mW. The card operates in the 2,192-2,539 and 4,920-6,100GHz frequency range and supports Turbo mode for faster transfers. The card works best in combination with MikroTik RouterOS.
The R52H is optimized for the MikroTik Nstreme protocol to achieve very long distances at high speed. The Nstreme protocol is the proprietary MikroTik wireless protocol designed to overcome speed and distance limitations in IEEE 802.11 standards and increase the efficiency of the point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless connection. The new Nstreme-dual protocol is designed to provide true full-duplex communication in a wireless network with a pair of wireless cards - one for data transmission and one for reception.

The goal of the Nstreme is to achieve very long distances at high speed. Nstreme is the proprietary MikroTik wireless protocol designed to overcome the speed and distance limitations of IEEE 802.11 standards.
MikroTik RouterOS is the operating system of the router and software that allows the PC or Mikrotik RouterBoard to be a dedicated router.
RouterBOARD is a hardware platform from MikroTik, which is a line of routers with RouterOS operating system. Almost all models of RouterBOARD devices can be powered via Ethernet (PoE) and have a connector for external power source.
