TL-WA860RE is a wireless signal amplifier with a socket outlet, whose miniature dimensions and the possibility of mounting it in a power socket allow for easy placement of the device in its destination. The built-in power outlet allows you to connect an additional device to the power supply, while two fixed antennas provide a long signal range and connection stability. The TL-WA860RE is an easy way to extend the range of the wireless network in places that are difficult to wiring and previously unavailable. The TL-WA860RE signal amplifier is compatible with 802.11n/g/b devices.

Range Extender button

The TP-LINK TL-WA860RE wireless signal amplifier has been designed to extend the range and amplify the signal strength of the existing wireless network to eliminate dead zones. With wireless connections in N standard with speeds up to 300Mb/s, Range Extender button, miniature dimensions and wall-mounting capabilities, the device allows you to easily and quickly extend the range of your wireless network.

Easy to place

The miniature size of the device and the possibility of mounting it in a power socket make it easy to mount and move. How to configure a range amplifier using the WPS button to extend the range of an existing wireless network?

1. Connect your WiFi amplifier to an electrical outlet near the main router/AP.

2. First press the WPS button on the main router/AP, then the WPS button on the amplifier.

After pressing the WPS button of the router/AP, the WPS LED of the router/AP should blink. If this LED is not flashing, you must press the WPS button again until the WPS LED of the router/AP starts flashing. The same reason is also relevant for the RE product. When you press the WPS button of the range extension cable, the WPS/RE LED of the range extension cable should flash. If not flashing, press again.
