USW-24-POE ( unifi switch gen2 ) is a configurable Gigabit Layer 2 switch with 24 ports Gigabit Ethernet, including 16 ports for automatic 802.3at PoE+ detection and two SFP ports. Provides Gigabit PoE links to RJ45 Ethernet devices and Gigabit fiber uplink options to the enterprise network. The USW-24-POE is equipped with a 1.3-inch LCM touch screen module that provides status information. With a 7.9" depth, the compact, fanless design can be easily installed in a SOHO rack.
Managed and configured by a UniFi network controller with support for UniFi mobile applications, USW-24-POE offers a wide package of advanced protocols and Layer 2 switching functions, including switching, mirroring or aggregate mode to port. The UniFi network controller and mobile application allow administrators to configure and monitor virtually all switch functions in the graphical user interface from anywhere.
UniFi is rapidly growing to a full SDN (Software-Defined Networking) solution with seamless integration of high-performance switching

A switch is a switch that combines several so-called microsegments in one network. The switch is equipped with ports, that is connections. Each of the ports can be connected to one device. You can also connect switches with each other to increase the number of possible connections and create lan networks.
Rack, rack, rack, ICT rack, server rack, crossover rack - a common name for a 19" wide rack, rack and industrial equipment standard (48.26 cm). Rack cabinets are mainly used in computer server rooms, power engineering as well as in recording studios or industrial premises.
PoE (Power over Ethernet) is the name of a series of methods that allow you to power your network equipment via twisted-pair cable while transferring data simultaneously.
