QoS together with ports for two degrees of priority guarantees customization of VoIP and multimedia connections for the best possible experience. GS-108B v3 using the QoS high priority ports will stabilize the operation of VoIP connections and data exchange. Devices that should have higher priority in the network should be connected to QoS medium priority ports, and those less demanding to general purpose ports.

Compatibility with IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet ensures energy efficiency without loss of performance.
GS-108B v3 automatically detects power consumption based on the connected devices and cable lengths, therefore consuming less power for short distances between devices. Power consumption will be changed dynamically, depending on the number of inactive ports, and the detected lack of data transmission in the network will automatically switch to power saving mode. Minimalist design GS-108B v3 makes the device look good in any environment.
