XIAOMI AQARA HUB

Convenience, security and compatibility

The gateway supports ZigBee 3.0, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and IR devices. With repeater devices (smart plug, wall switch) we will connect up to 128 AQARA ZigBee devices to the hub. AQARA Hub M2 EU is equipped with a 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi antenna providing excellent connectivity for dozens of sensors and controllers. The device also supports RJ-45 Ethernet wired connection.

ZigBee 3.0 has also been combined with Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi b/g/n transceiver to support maximum connectivity in local automation. And we can power the Micro-USB port from a regular USB wall socket or smartphone charger.

XIAOMI AQARA HUB M2

A variety of possibilities

The gateway supports the whole range of AQARA sensors which makes subscription unnecessary. Infrared controller allows you to exclusively control multiple devices such as TV or air conditioner.

XIAOMI AQARA HUB M2

Aqara from Matter

An update to the firmware for the Hub M2, version 4.0.0 (beta) adds Matter support to hubs, allowing connected Zigbee devices to become Matter-compatible. Matter is a new connectivity standard for IoT devices that allows a wide range of smart home accessories to work with each other - regardless of brand or ecosystem. Through the M2 Hub with the new firmware, Aqara Zigbee devices will be able to connect to Matter-compatible third-party applications over Wi-Fi. However, this firmware will not upgrade Zigbee devices to support Thread.
Users of the Aqara Hub M2 can check to see if an update to firmware version 4.0.0 (beta) has already appeared in their Aqara Home app and start using the new Matter standard.
To activate Matter, select "Bind to Matter (Beta)" in the Hub M2 settings. Check out the video below for detailed configuration guidelines.
