cnPilot - external access point from Cambium Networks

External access point with IP67 protection class (AP) with the possibility of connecting 512 clients at the same time. 16 SSIDs, WPA-2 encryption, creation of MESH and dynamic VLAN networks, DFS frequency dynamic selection system, support for access control list (ACL), zero touch provisioning system and many other functions. With the 802.11ac wave2 implementation, the e700 is ideal for creating modern Wi-Fi networks in high density environments.

High performance thanks to beamforming technology. At 5 GHz at 4x4 Tx/Rx, the antenna chip can control the beam to the target client device, providing the highest quality and performance in high-noise RF environments - both download and upload.

Roaming without an additional enterprise-class controller, dynamic channel selection and automatic transmission power control combined with cnPilot platform features will provide a high-quality, superior Wi-Fi network.

The MESH technology implemented in CnPilot e700 allows to create networks in this structure, it can dedicate one band (e.g. 5 GHz) to maintain the network backbone. It can also make the WiFi signal available to the network clients via both bands, maintaining the MESH structure in the 5 GHz band at the same time. (The band is shared to support customers connected at 5 GHz with the MESH backbone at the same time).

The hardware expansion with additional network transmitters or external devices is possible in Cambium CnPilot e700 without additional power supply. The device has been equipped with PoE pass through (Aux PoE Out) port, providing classic PoE 802.3af signal as well as Cambium-PoE (Motorolla) standard signal. It is useful e.g. in implementations where surveillance of installed devices from IP cameras is required.

To provide additional protection, the Cambium CnPilot e700 has a internal memory controller operating on two memory banks in Active/Standby mode. This functionality allows you to store two versions of system software in the device memory, allowing you to restore the "firmware" to the previous version at any time.
