The Cambium XV2-2T0 is a dual Wi-Fi 6 radio access point (AP) designed for outdoor deployments in Wi-Fi hotspots, outdoor corporate networks, hospitality and education. The XV2 2T features surge suppression up to 4kV and an LTE coexistence filter. Combining Wi-Fi 6 technology with high-performance antennas, the XV2-2T provides coverage of up to 1km, as well as higher throughput over shorter distances compared to competing solutions. By covering a larger area per access point, network operators can save on hardware, cabling, installation, maintenance and access rights costs for external Wi-Fi deployments. Combined with Cambium Networks' cnWave 60 GHz multi-gigabit solutions for Wi-Fi backhaul, network operators can cover large areas at incredible speeds - all wirelessly.
The XV2-2T0 provides a Cambium 30VDC or 48VDC output for PoE devices connected to a second Gigabit Ethernet port. Ideal for connecting the XV2-2T0 to a Cambium Subscriber Module (SM), Terragraph CN (connection node) or any IP and Ethernet device such as a security IP camera or other Wi-Fi access point.
The new IEEE 802.11ax standard provides higher network speeds and enables more connected devices with higher packet quality. In outdoor deployments, IEEE 802.11ax provides greater range by increasing the RF frame preamble by 3 dB and improving signal quality with increased guard spacing compared to previous Wi-Fi technology. XV2-2T0 is fully backward-compatible with existing Wi-Fi technology and prepares the network for greater growth and higher density of connected Wi-Fi devices.
The XV2-2T0 continues the convergence of the enterprise network with an intelligent access point, managed by Cambium Networks' XMS or cnMaestro intelligent management system. Choose the management system that best suits your business and benefit from the latest technologies from Cambium Networks.
Cambium Networks XMS uses intelligent access points with embedded edge controllers to deliver edge services at any network density. The XMS management plane is a cloud-oriented technology with a simple and easy-to-use interface providing L7 application policy-based control, EasyPass BYOD secure access and a drag-and-drop MSP dashboard.
Cambium Networks cnMaestro™ uses a distributed intelligence architecture with cloud-based management and intelligent access points that self-optimize for the RF environment. cnMaestro provides management for Cambium's broadband fixed wireless switches, cnMatrix Ethernet switches, enterprise Wi-Fi access points and service provider home routers.
