About product

Wide range of Cambium Networks implementations

ePMP 3000L is a third generation access point (AP) that uses interference immunity mechanisms, emphasizing high performance in low point density point and multipoint sectors. The ePMP 3000L has a 2x2 MIMO connector and can support a variety of implementations, including 90/120 degree sectors, narrow-sector corners and even 360 degree coverage in the universe. Cambium 3000L provides TDD synchronization via GPS. .

Performance of ePMP 3000

The ePMP 3000L system boasts a high throughput of packets per second and supports subscriber modules with a peak throughput of up to 600 Mb/s. Cambium ePMP device operates in the Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mb/s standard.

ePMP 3000 - ideal solution for rural networks

  • Re-use of frequencies - GPS synchronization and SM transmission power control
  • Unmatched performance and scalability - Cambium Networks' MAC addresses protocol supports high performance and low, consistent latency for clients
  • With MicroPOP applications, it is ideal for areas with low population density and low number of subscribers, and by supporting narrowband sectors, coverage can be added exactly where needed

Key features of Cambium Networks ePMP 3000L AP

  • 256QAM-5/6, 80 MHz channel support
  • Supports 2x2 MIMO with a maximum throughput of 600 Mb/s.
  • It supports a wide frequency range: 4910 - 5950 MHz
  • 802.3at compliant with 100/1000 BaseT interface
  • Connector for use with a sector antenna. Also compatible with Twistport Elements adapter for ePMP.
  • Re-use frequencies with GPS synchronization and interference mitigation.
  • Network management in the cloud (cloud menagment) or on-site using cnMaestro.

How does Sync GPS radio use active and inactive software banks?

Sync GPS ePMP Radio with built-in GPS contains two flash memory banks, each containing a software version. The version of the software version recently installed on the flash memory device (using software update procedures) is configured in the Active Bank. This software will be used by the device after restarting the device. The Inactive Software Bank will be used by the device if the active bank cannot be used due to a failure.

How does Adaptive Modulation Cambium ePMP Force work?

The ePMP series provides an adaptive modulation scheme in which the receiver constantly monitors the quality of the received signal and informs about the remote end of the link of the optimal modulation mode that can be transmitted. In this way, optimal performance is achieved at all times.

If GPS synchronization fails, what is free running time? What happens after this time?

Synchronization Hold-off Timer is configurable (range: 20 - 86400 seconds). After this time, the wireless radio transmitter will switch off. However, if the sync eu GPS is set before this time has elapsed, the access point will resume normal operation.
