Cisco WAP361 means high-performance, easy to deploy and highly secure business-class 802.11ac wireless connectivity
The access point WAP361 uses a dual-band radio to increase coverage and throughput. MIMO technology (Multi-Input Multi-Output 2x2) with two radio streams allows the access point to operate with maximum performance in both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. The LAN Gigabit Ethernet interface with PoE support facilitates installation and reduces cabling costs. Intelligent service quality features (QoS) allow you to prioritize bandwidth-sensitive traffic for VoIP and video applications. To ensure a high level of security for visitors and other users, the WAP361 Access Point supports a captive portal with multiple authentication options and the ability to configure permissions, roles and bandwidth. A customized guest login page allows you to present the welcome message and access details and enhances brand recognition with your company logo.
The WAP361 access points are easy to use, and thanks to the intuitive wizard-based configuration, they can be launched quickly, in just a few minutes. The elegant, minimalist design and universal mounting options allow the access points to fit well into any business environment.
To increase reliability and protect confidential business information, WAP361 Access Points support both Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) Personal and Enterprise, encoding all wireless transmissions with powerful encryption. Authentication with 802.1X RADIUS protocol protects against unauthorized users' access.
The access points are designed to scale the network smoothly as your business grows, with the Single Point Setup option that simplifies the deployment of multiple access points without additional hardware.
