Intelligent D-Link DGS-1250 switches are affordable switches that can be implemented as main switches in medium-sized companies and as access switches in large corporations. The device provides a number of physical interfaces (including a console port with full CLI), multiple management interfaces, QoS enablement and Advanced Later-2 with Lite Layer-3 functions. Switches support 24 or 48x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, each of which also supports an additional 4 10G SFP + ports for optical connections using multi-mode or single-mode SFP transmitters.
DGS-1250-28X is supported by STP, RSTP and MSTP technologies, which provides redundant connections, protects against loops, increases network reliability and minimizes downtime for key applications. The switch is also equipped with a double image of the operating system and configuration files, which allows for quick change of software version and configurations without interruption. DGS-1250 is equipped with four 10G SFP+ ports, which reduces bottlenecks and the flexibility of a 1G/10G uplink connection allows you to perform tasks requiring large amounts of data transfer in a short time.
D-Link's innovative protective motor helps protect the switch from being flooded with traffic caused by malicious attacks. DGS-1250-52X supports 802.1X-based authentication so that customers can be authenticated via external RADIUS servers. The Access Control List (ACL) function helps to increase network security and helps to protect the internal IT network. The device also has features to prevent forgery of the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP), which provides protection against network attacks.
The DGS-1250 switch supports Auto Voice VLAN and Surveillance Mode, which allows you to automatically identify and handle voice and video traffic differently from normal network traffic. Auto Voice VLAN detects VoIP (Voice over IP) traffic and automatically segments it from the rest of the network, adding an isolation layer and enabling Quality of Service (QoS). Surveillance Mode detects compatible ONVIF cameras and places them in a VLAN surveillance network, allowing you to use a single switch to handle voice, video and data - eliminating the need for dedicated equipment and reducing maintenance costs. Surveillance Mode also includes its own network interface, making it easy to access surveillance functions and manage your surveillance network.
