Extralink's power supply bar has 16 ports with a throughput of 10/100 Mbit/s. The upper RJ45 sockets are LAN/switch/PC ports, where pins 1/2 and 3/6 are used for data transfer. Sockets located below are ports for both data and power supply, where pins 1/2 and 3/6 are used for data transmission, while pins 4/5 (+) and 7/8 (-) for power supply. The size of the power strip: 1U (height), 19" (width) and 25 mm (thickness).

The PoE (Power over Ethernet) injector is used to transfer power to active devices using a UTP/FTP cable.
Power over Ethernet, or PoE for short, is a technology based on several standards for the transmission of electricity via twisted-pair cable to Ethernet peripheral devices.
Many types of PoE injectors are available on the market. The choice depends on how many devices we want to connect, whether it is possible to mount them in a rack etc.
