PoE (Power over Ethernet) injector is used to transfer power to active devices through the use of UTP/FTP cable.
Power over Ethernet, or PoE for short, is a technology based on several standards for transmitting electrical power over twisted-pair cables to peripheral devices that are part of an Ethernet network.
There are many types of PoE injectors available on the market. The choice depends on how many devices you want to connect, whether it is possible to mount in a rack, etc.
