Extralink 8-port PoE injector supports 10/100/1000 M Ethernet throughput. LAN RJ45 connectors are designed to connect the switch/PC/HUB. The POE RJ45 connectors provide data and PoE power at the same time, pins 1/2 & 3/6 & 4/5 & 7/8 are designed for data and pins 4/5 (+) & 7/8 (-) for power. The unit consists of 8 RJ45 sockets and one power outlet for up to 60 V DC. The power input has a diameter of 5.5 mm. The total output power must be less than the maximum input power of the AC-DC supply, otherwise a stronger AC-DC supply must be considered. The recommended power formula for the AC-DC adapter is 10 W per RJ45 kit (1 kit = 2 x RJ45 socket). For example, 8 x 10 W = 80 W for a PoE panel with 8 ports.
