Extralink SFP 1.25G optical transceivers are high-performance, cost-effective fiber optic SFP single-mode modules supporting data transfer rates of 1.25 Gbps/1.0625 Gbps and transmission ranges up to 20 km with SMF. For fiber optic transmission they use single-mode fiber. Extralink SFP 1.25 G operates on alternating wave. (Tx=1310 nm, Rx=1550 nm). SFP 1.25 G optical module consists of three sections: FP laser transmitter, PIN photodiode integrated with transimpedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All single-mode SFP cartridges meet the safety requirements of a Class I laser.
SFP 1.25 G optical modules are used in fiber optic channels, Gigabit Ethernet, switch to switch interfaces, switched backplane applications, router/server interfaces and other optical transmission systems.
