HG8240F is an optical network terminal (ONT) designed for home users and small and large offices. The HG8240F terminal is a high-end FTTH home solution. The device provides two POTS ports, four FE Internet ports. It has high-performance forwarding functions to provide a great experience for VoIP, Internet and HD video services.
A natural heat sink material is used on the top of the terminal case, and the optical port has a dustproof design with a rubber plug. The HG8240F is both pleasing to the eye and energy efficient. It can be installed on a desk or on a wall. Using Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology, the HG8240F provides high-speed data connectivity over a single optical fiber with uplink speeds of 1.244Gbps and downlink speeds of 2.488Gbps.
