The Huawei S5720-LI series switches are a new generation of energy-efficient Gigabit Ethernet switches that feature flexible GE access ports and 10 GE WAN ports. They are based on high performance next generation hardware, save and relay mode and Huawei VRP (Versatile Routing Platform). The S5720-LI series switches support intelligent stack (iStack), flexible Ethernet and various security control solutions. They provide customers with ecological, easy-to-manage and scalable and cost-effective Gigabit network solutions within the company.
The Huawei switches from the series S5720-LI are designed to provide the user with the greatest possible functionality and comfort. Huawei's Switches are equipped with many functions such as port sleep and automatic port power control, providing a energy-saving and quiet design. The S5720-52X-LI switch supports various Layer 3 routing protocols (such as RIP and OSPF) and acts as a SVF (Super Virtual Fabric) client, while being all plug-and-play devices that do not require configuration.
The new generation of intelligent stacking technology (iStack) allows to combine multiple switches into one logical switch. The whole stack works as one whole in the network. Member switches in the stack support each other in order to increase the reliability of devices and establish aggregation of links between devices to increase link reliability. The iStack system provides high network scalability and allows flexible expansion of ports, capacity and processing capabilities by simply adding member switches to the stack. The iStack system also simplifies device configuration and management by virtualizing multiple physical switches in one logical device. You can log on to any member switch to manage all member switches in the stack.
