No switching chip - The device has fully independent Ethernet ports, each of which is directly connected to the processor, which allows you to overcome the previous common 1Gbit limit from the switching chip ports and use the full potential of the processor's computing power on these ports.
A single 1Gbit hardware interface, which has two hardware interfaces - a SFP basket and a Gigabit Ethernet port, allowing you to use any available connection type. It is also possible to switch between both physical interfaces in RouterOS. In the event of disconnection, the combo-port provides a hardware failure switching function.
One of the first devices to support 100BASE-LXE/100BASE-SX/100BASE-BX fiber modules as well as standard SFP 1.25G modules.

MikroTik RouterOS is the operating system of the router and software that allows the PC or Mikrotik RouterBoard to be a dedicated router.
Look for the reset button marked "RES" on the MikroTik router. Then turn off the power to the device. Hold down the reset button and do not release it. Turn on the device power and wait for the "ACT" LED to flash. Finally, release the button to clear the configuration.
No, the configuration will not be removed from one version family. When upgrading version families (for example V2.5 to V2.6) you may lose configuration of some features that have major changes. For example, when upgrading from V2.4, you must first upgrade to the latest version 2.4.
