Mikrotik Routerboard RBLHG-5HPnD-XL Light Head Grid XL (LHG HP5 XL) is a wireless network device with a 27dBi built in antenna. It is ideal for point-to-point connections or as a CPE client device. The grid design provides protection against wind and no loss of cable connection, as the antenna element is built into the wireless device. The LHG HP5 XL has almost twice the transmitting power of the LHG 5, up to 630mW, and is designed to achieve connections over distances up to 40km. The device works under the MikroTik's RouterOS firmware. The package also includes the PoE Injector, power supply and pole mount.
The offered product uses 802.11a/n standards and 2x2 MIMO technology. The maximum theoretical throughput is 300 Mb/s. Application of another antenna resulted in slightly narrower main beam than in LHG 5, its width is 6.4°. The device is powered by passive PoE, with voltage from 10 - 28 V DC. A 24 V / 0.38 A power supply and PoE injector are included. The LHG XL can be used to establish point-to-point connections or as a client device in point-to-multipoint connections.
