Mikrotik LtAP LTE is a compact weatherproof 4G (LTE) wireless access point, ideal for use in urban environments or outside the network. It comes with a built-in wireless modem that supports 4G (LTE) connectivity and does not require additional equipment.
The 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n frequency allows you to securely access your LTE network from your phone or other wireless device with download speeds of up to 150 Mbps. You can also use the Gigabit Ethernet LAN port for wired devices. Power options are DC jack, PoE input. There are 3 MiniSIM slots that you can use to set up automatic switching between mobile phone operators. Very convenient if you need to cross the border regularly.
The extremely robust housing with special wall mounting kit is the ideal solution for many applications, e.g. public transport, food trucks, whatever the prevailing weather conditions. LtAP can operate in a temperature range of -40°C to 70°C, neither in harsh winter nor in hot weather. The real-time vehicle tracking device is resistant to any weather anomalies.
The device comes with an additional miniPCIe slot, offering many expansion options,
you can for example install a second LTE modem for redundancy or a 5 GHz interface to have two simultaneous
2.4 GHz/5 GHz AP + LTE bands. Another miniPCIe slot already has an LTE modem.
An RS232 serial port offers console access for debugging, as well as a USB port for other devices. The RBLtAP-2HnD&R11e-4G includes an LTE modem supporting bands 3, 7, 20, 31, 41n, 42 and 43.
The Internet of Things has never been so accessible, now with LoRa® technology the LtAP LR8 LTE can gather information from inexpensive wireless sensors. LoRa® can be used for everything from smart homes to agriculture, supply chains, logistics and even smart cities. Monitor parking spaces, track utilities, measure environmental data and so on - the possibilities are endless.

RouterOS features include firewall, routing, MPLS, VPN, wireless, DHCP, hotspot, QoS, Proxy and more.
Of course it is. Access to the router is protected by username and password. Additional users can be added if necessary. Each user group can be assigned specific permissions. Remote access to the router can be restricted by user, IP address. Filtering firewall is the simplest way to protect the router and network.
The built-in GPS module requires an external antenna. Check the settings in RouterOS: GPS port to Serial 1, Serial 1 should be configured as 115200 bit/s, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, no flow control.
