Fully sealed, metal housing with industrial design, powered by RouterBOARD and RouterOS. The radio module operates in 5GHz band with power 1.3 W in 802.11a/n standard, has one antenna connector and does not support MIMO. It comes with an L4 license so you can connect your favourite 5Ghz antenna to use it as an access point, for wireless point-to-point connections or as a CPE - whatever you prefer!
MicroTik Metal 5 has a built-in N-male connector and mast mounting points, so you can connect it directly to your antenna, or use standard antenna cable. LED indicators facilitate installation and alignment. The radio has a high transmitting power of up to 31 dBm (1259 mW), so you can get good range. Power supply is via passive PoE 9 - 30 V, power supply (24 V, 0.8 A) and PoE injector are included.
