Now with 802.11ac support, a Gigabit Ethernet port and a selectable 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless band, a channel width of up to 80 MHz. The new Gigabit port will help you get the most out of your 802.11ac high-speed wireless network.
The device has a special metal casing ensuring resistance to difficult weather conditions. The metal 52 ac supports 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and all previous wireless modes (802.11 b/g/n for 2.4 GHz and 802.11 a/n/ac for 5 GHz).
Transmission power is 1300 mW, integrated omnidirectional antennas have 6 (2.4 GHz) and 8 (5 GHz) dBi gain. Along with Metal 52 ac, other antennas can be used, adapted to individual requirements. It can work as client device, access point, or be used in point-to-point connections.

Bridge network devices are kits that allow to create point-to-point connections. They provide reliable and fast data transmission. Information flow is secure and mobile - within the range of the client device. They form a wireless network and cooperate with each other. It is worth noting that the base stations have specific software that allows to manage individual points.
MikroTik RouterOS is the operating system of the router and software that allows the PC or Mikrotik RouterBoard to be a dedicated router.
