MikroTik PWR-Line AP is a network transmitter using current infrastructure, made as an accessory to the existing network, to places where the signal or cable is unable to reach. The device is supplied with a C-type power plug (commonly used throughout the world).
Especially useful in houses with thick walls, where you can extend your Wi-Fi coverage to those rooms where the signal is weak, without having to re-cable the house. Simply connect this device directly to one of the LAN ports of the MikroTik router and add another one somewhere in the other room. They will connect to each other through power lines. You can install up to eight PWR-LINE devices to overlay your network.

Access point, access point - a device providing access to a computer network using a wireless transmission medium such as radio waves. An access point is usually a bridge that connects the wireless local network to the local network.
The network transmitter transmits Ethernet over the electrical network.
