Possibility of powering an additional device


The device is equipped with two Ethernet ports, and since the second port offers PoE-out functionality, it can be used to power another device.
Two micro-SIM slots are used for a backup link. The kit includes a 24V
power supply compliant with 802.3af/at standards, which can support the full range from 18 V to 57 V.

What is RouterBoard?

RouterBOARD is a hardware platform from MikroTik, which is a line of routers with RouterOS operating system.
Almost all models of RouterBOARD devices can be powered via Ethernet (PoE) and are equipped with connector for external power source.

What is an access point?

Access point means access point, access point, a device that provides hosts with access to a computer network using a wireless transmission medium, such as radio waves. Access point is usually a bridge connecting wireless local network with local network.

Does RouterOS provide security?

Of course you do! Access to the router is protected by username and password. Additional users can be added if necessary. Each user group can be assigned specific permissions. Remote access can be restricted by user, IP address. Filtering firewall is the easiest way to protect your router and network.
