Universal transceiver for three connection types: SFP (1.25 Gbps), SFP+ (10 Gbps) and SFP28 (25 Gbps). As a direct replacement for the earlier SFP+ transceiver for 10 Gb/s. over distances up to 10 km, the XS+31LC10D gained more functionality but retained its previous price. Support for 25 Gbps data transmission (SFP28) has been added - allowing one module to be used in all installations. It is perfect for CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS router and any other multi-port devices.

We check whether the ports on the device are SFP or SFP+ ports. The latter can operate at 10 Gbps. Next, we make our choice of fiber optic cable. Single-mode fiber is usually used for longer distances, while we use multimode for shorter distances.
