The Mimosa A6 wireless access point delivers up to 7 Gbps of throughput, incredible subscriber capacity and synchronized network scalability for unlicensed, outdoor fixed wireless PTMP networks. The A6, the first future-proof solution to deliver high-speed gigabit fiber speeds to subscribers over wireless, goes beyond the traditional 5 GHz band to take advantage of expanded 160 MHz channels in the new low-noise 6 GHz band.
Compete with fiber speed offerings in urban and rural tower locations with the Mimosa A6. Wi-Fi 6E technologies offer unmatched 60 bps/Hz spectral efficiency, high performance 8x8 multi-user MIMO and OFDMA technologies, providing enough AP capacity to support large populations (200 subscribers) in almost any rural tower location, and even in the densest urban environments.
Unlicensed bands typically have crowded spectrum in cities and even at tower co-location sites in rural areas. A6 introduces an arsenal of new, advanced interference-fighting techniques to make it easier than ever to overcome noisy conditions and provide reliable services in unlicensed spectrum.
Small sites require complex and expensive power and switching equipment between backhaul networks and access points. As new devices with faster 10 Gbps speeds are introduced, these costs quickly make expansion too expensive for ISPs. The A6 features an internal switch and integrated 10 Gbps SFPs for easy connectivity without the need for an external switch. Dedicated 48V DC power inputs eliminate the need for additional Ethernet connections when deploying fiber.
Armed with the latest Wi-Fi 6E technologies, including 8x8 MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, beamforming, massively reduced resource unit size, low OFDMA latency, and GPS synchronization across the network, the A6 pushes nearly every performance and scalability bar in the industry.

Depending on the environment and spectrum, A6 is suitable for short- or long-range deployments.
The 6E's superior Wi-Fi chip performance provides high spectral efficiency 8x8 multi-user MIMO, low OFDMA latency, noise-reducing antenna beamforming, support for wider 160 MHz channels in the 6 GHz band and more. The A6 can deliver up to 7 Gbps and provide gigabit subscriber speeds.
The C6x client radio based on Wi-Fi standard 6E, 802.11ax will work best with the A6 to provide gigabit subscriber speeds. To ease the transition to existing Mimosa deployments, the C5x and C5c can be used in internal Wi-Fi mode.
The A6 has an integrated 24 dBi antenna with adaptive beamforming.
