Mimosa Networks is a leader among fixed radio links with fibre speed. B5c as a radio unit itself gives us great flexibility and freedom of application. Depending on the size of antennas we can use it for long, medium and short connections. 1.5 Gbps radio bandwidth, low latency (~1ms) and the mechanism of automatic division of traffic direction ensures trouble-free operation even for sensitive services such as voice or video transmission.
Most MIMOSA products are designed to operate in a wider frequency range than standard products. All of this is to enable the user to go beyond the crowded range to much cleaner areas of the spectrum - this is often the only possible option. The B5c operates in the 4.9 to 6.2 GHz range.
High quality materials and IP67 protection factor allow the B5c to withstand even the harshest weather conditions.
The unlicensed band is unfortunately very unpredictable. Knowing this, MIMOSA has developed a unique "auto-everything" tool to protect the connection from interference as soon as it occurs. B5c maintains communication on two independent radio channels and adjusts their operating parameters to solve problems, while offering the highest speed and stability of the link. It can be said to be like two intelligent links in one.
Typically, each subsequent backhaul link takes a fragment of the radio spectrum and unfortunately affects the links already in operation. The unique technique of precise GPS synchronization enables B5 and B5c based connections to use the same channel for up to 4 links repeatedly.
Immediately after installation, MIMOSA devices offer the opportunity to monitor them with the free Mimosa Cloud service. Analyzing, checking the quality of the connection or identifying problems has never been easier.
