RF elements® Array sector anten nas provide exceptional RF performance, collocation capabilities, ease of installation and cost effectiveness. The antennas feature patented BackShield™ technology, a frequency selective surface that suppresses side lobes in the azimuth and back radiation planes, integrated directly into the antenna body. The Array Sector 5-20 operates over an extremely wide frequency band, has balanced gain in both polarizations and offers unparalleled main lobe stability for excellent coverage characteristics.
Sector gain remains very stable over a very wide frequency range of 5150-5850 MHz. VSWR values are excellent across the useful spectrum, allowing maximum power to be delivered from the radio to the antenna.
Sector antennas feature BackShield, a patented structure that effectively mitigates side lobes in the azimuthal plane and back radiation. BackShield significantly improves collocation capabilities in dense clusters.
Sector antennas are compatible with all major devices with coaxial connectors (see data sheet for complete list). The sector antennas also feature a removable cover to protect the SMA connectors, another feature introduced by RF Elements® that has become an industry standard.
The rugged extruded aluminum body allows the sector antennas to withstand any weather conditions. The materials used are of the highest quality: extruded and extruded aluminum, surface-coated stainless steel, UV-resistant ABS plastic and high-density polyethylene.
