Half Cut photovoltaic modules

The main advantages of the half cut modules for users are an increase in performance and total yield by about 2-3%. The module is divided into an upper and a lower part, on which there are divided cells. Thanks to such a procedure, the power of electricity generated by the cell is reduced by half and the resistance loss at the cell and module level is reduced by 75%. In addition, halving the current may significantly reduce the risk of a hot spot effect by lowering the temperature in the cells.
