The Tenda AP5 access point is suitable for small and medium businesses as well as for home use. The Access Point supports 5 modes of operation, combining the functions of several devices into one. The device is designed to improve the range of an existing Wi-Fi connection, creating a stronger signal in hard-to-reach places. Three 5 dBi external detachable antennas provide high quality at speeds up to 300 Mbps. The Tenda Ap5 is equipped with the Broadcom chipset, which has a high actual transfer rate and stability, and the chipset also provides a "green Wi-Fi mode" that dynamically turns off the chip components, thus reducing active power consumption.
The AP5 access point is equipped with a "extend range" button, which allows the user to easily extend the range of the existing Wi-Fi network.
In addition to the most powerful WPA2-PSK security , Tenda AP5 also supports many other types of security, VPN, MAC address filtering, the ability to disable network name broadcast, VLAN for each SSID up to 8 different SSIDs with different security, output power settings.
Support for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and a special design that allows wall mounting allows the device to be installed in places where there is no power outlet such as garages or warehouses.
