The Tenda TEG1005D switch is equipped with 5 10/100/1000Mbps ports that significantly increase network throughput, allowing large files to be transferred in a fraction of the time. This allows users in the home, office, workgroup or design studio to transfer large files faster. Graphics, CGI, CAD and multimedia files will be transferred over the network in no time.
The Tenda TEG1005D switch supports 15k jumbo frames to speed up large file transfers and improve transmission performance. The switch is built in a robust galvanized steel chassis for efficient heat dissipation, stable and long-lasting operation under maximum loads. The unit is designed for desktop use or wall mounting.

The Tenda TEG1005D Next-Generation switch uses power-saving technology to increase network capacity while consuming less power. It automatically adjusts power based on link status and cable length. When a computer or network device is turned off, the corresponding port on a regular switch still consumes a significant amount of power. The TEG1005D switch automatically detects the link status of each port and reduces the power consumption of inactive ports, saving up to 85% power.
Auto-negotiation features greatly simplify the installation of the device. No additional configuration is required. Auto-MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for cables with crossed pairs. Auto-negotiation on each port determines the network device's connection speed (10, 100 or 1000Mbps) and makes compatibility adjustments for optimal performance.
