TP-Link CPE510 is a multifunctional external device that can work as an access point, Client, bridge, repeater, AP router and WISP. It is equipped with a MIMO 2x2 directional antenna with 13 dBi power and a central Pharos Control management system. The system is optimized for long-distance transmission. A Passive PoE adapter is included, allowing the device to be powered over a maximum distance of 60 meters.
CPE 5 GHz 300 Mb/s provides effective solutions for external wireless networks. Thanks to the central management system it is ideal for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint Wi-Fi connections. Professional performance combined with ease of use makes CPE510 a great choice for both business customers and individual users.
Thanks to Qualcomm Atheros chipsets, high gain antennas, high quality materials, specially designed housing and PoE power supply, the presented CPE510 can operate in virtually any conditions, within the temperature range from -40°C (-40°F) to +70°C (158°F).
Specially designed for outdoor applications CPE510 allows wireless transmission over a distance of more than 15 km.
To prevent lowering network bandwidth and collisions between other transmitters, the CPE510 uses TP-LINK MAXtream TDMA technology.
Pharos Control is software that allows you to manage all CPE510 access points in your network from a single computer. With Pharos Control, numerous functions such as device detection, status monitor, software updates and network management can be used remotely.

Log on to the CPE510 management page.
Run Quick Setup
Step 1: Click on the Quick Setup tab, select "Access Point" and press Next.
Step 2 The default IP address of the device is 192.168.0.254, it should be changed if the router operates in a different subnet. For example, if the router's address is 192.168.1.1, then for CPE510 you can set 192.168.1.* (where * is a number from 2 to 254), Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0.
If you do not know the IP address of the router, you can leave the default values here.
Step 3: Configure your wireless network:
SSID: (wireless network name)
Security: select WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK
PSK Password: (wireless network password)
Step 4: Press Finish and wait for the settings to be saved, it will take about 60 seconds.
Now you can disconnect the CPE510 from your computer, connect it to your router and move it to your destination.
